Powell tow hooks?

I want to purchase a powell tow hook but i have no idea where to get them from. Does anyone know? Will the rear tow hook fit on a 2006 ss sedan bumper?

Don't know on the sedan. Think you have to cut a slot for it, but please don't accept my word as correct. I don't own a sedan.

C_A_D88 contact this guy he has a heavily modded sedan and I made him a Z plated rear tow hook that does not need cutting the rear bumper. Its hard to do it without cutting the bumper, and going through the license plate opening is difficult and requires too much spacing. Thye run 95 front 135 front/rear, + shipping, contact gloria@powellraceshop.com to order. Standard pc colors, lots in stock.

I would like a pic of that rear hook that doesn't require cutting the rear bumper. Also, these come with release pins to be able to take off the hook from it's bracket, right?

So C_A88 has confirmed the Z bracket works for a sedan rear bumper, thats good, as he has the first one of that type. Qwik release pins are 20 extra each; you can unscrew the stainless cap screw cross pin if you want, just not as qwik, to remove the hook.

95 fron 135 front/rear + shipping.

Yes the z plate works with a Sedan rear bumper if u have the rear lip, of not I still believe u will have to cut your bumper I cannot comment other wise. U have to remove a good section of the stock bummer when installing the lip so that's why I believe it still will need to be cut for the stock ss sedan bumper

Ugh thats ugly; Chris do you think a deeper Z bend perhaps? I will check today I have a 4 door here. If so, I can bend a plate to fit, assuming no cutting of the bumper is the goal.

piks or ban lol; just waiting for the guy with the 100 ton press to come back so I can make a Z bracket out of a flat tow hook plate... that press makes it bend like plastic lol

the first time you need a tow and the tow truck rips your bumper off trying to load your broken down cobalt, remember you decided you werent cool enough lol.
seriously, the stuff that goes on with tow trucks is enough to make u throw up. We made these tow hooks for racing where its mandatory. Fine for me that folks want them....
