problem with SS inlays

problem with SS inlays

hey guys i bought some SS inlays off ebay for my 2008 black SS when i went to put them on they were way to small i tried flipping them around and about anyway i could but there no way they are covering all of the white any one else run into this problem yet?

are they vinyl?
also, where did you get them from?
I'm looking for them too.
My buddy has a vinyl plotter, and we even tried cutting them out.

if you have any pics with them not fitting post them.
If its vinyl I can probably help you out.

i dont want to say what company they were yet as they haven't been given the chance to fix it but yes they are vinyl i think just like heavy duty stickers i can try and put one on again and take a pic but they dont fit worth a heck
i will do that tomorrow.

other people here have gotten them and said they don't cover 100%, but you couldn't really tell until you got pretty close up

ok so i sent the company custombrakelights.com a email and pictures and they agreed they didnt fit and are refunding my money now the question is does anyone have a set for 08 cobalts if in fact the ss changed size and style
i will have no problem ordering anything else from that company as they are backing up there product thats rare now days from what ive seen in the aftermarket

those would be the perfect item for whoever is looking for them.

my problem is that they are freaking 22 bucks.

I know for a fact that it doesn't take them more than 4 bucks to make. and thats PUSHING it.

thats a freaking ripoff if I ever saw one.

just take ur bdges to a body shop...and they will paint them...prolly very cheap...i got mine done free

how did they tape around the chrome yours look really nice
i will let you guys know when i make my move on them right now i have some black inlays for the chevy bowties on the wheels and on the steering wheel hope thoes come put ok and i can move on

Paint it yourself. Painters tape, razorblade, trim paint, and clearcoat. Paint looks better then vinyl too.
