I guess you missed all my previous posts... I dont know the ions setup. I assumed it shared the same 9007 setup just like the cobalts which i now know it doesnt. It uses a different wire sequence. do i know what it is no but the people in this thread do.

07 posted here so give it about 30 mins and maven will be in to rescue the day!

Simple, like what I did, just keep flipping the wires around till you find the one that works for your car. Should take you 10min?

Why not right? Maybe I should plug the kit into a wall outlet just to make sure it works. Right? Because that makes sense. After I am done. I will experiment with that block game that has been troubling me all these years... I just have not figured it out yet. So why not try sticking the square piece in all the holes and see which one works?

This is probably my fault. I should have done the my research on this before making my purchase. I should have researched the different types of kits that are available and the best components to run. I should have done my research on installing these kinds of kits specific to my platform.

Instead, I paid money to have someone else do that for me and look where its gotten me.

Anyone else have any suggestions on any other wires I can swap, cut or splice? That seems to be the preferred troubleshooting method at this point...

Eric one more thing..... the way we build them up here with Justin, and |I am sure the way Maven builds them, you have to use a mounting system for the projectors that leaves the stock adjustment mechanism for aiming intact. That means you must use a 4 bolt mount projector, and mount it to the reflector, which is the adjustment mechanism . Then BEFORE you button it all up, you have to trial fit it either in a jig or on the car, to make sure the projectors are mounted "square" to the housing, and to the car so the cut off beam is parallel to the ground (if the beams are intended to focus that way). Then you finally assemble the lights, install, and raise or lower the adjustment mechanism to aim.

The Redline lights only adjust up or down, NOT in or out, and have no compensation for horizontal levelling, as they are not made to do that - bulb in a reflector housing. Hope this helps, and pm Maven.

For my latest lights, I put in a new front lamp harness, goes from the fuse box out to the front lights, and has provision for fog lights if you want them. In my case I use the fog light opening for brake ducts, so its not an issue for me, but all replacement front lamp harness for the Redline come foglight ready, and also with improved larger gauge ground wiring.

Disaster averted. I got the kit to work. Thanks for everyone who provided input.

I swapped the center wire in the harness with one from the side. I don't know why that made it work and I don't really care.

I am going for a drive.
