well the only problem with the first set of lights is they are ugly as sin, the second set are easy to install but everyone has them(including me) no one has the first set of lights yet sso i say go for whatever you like better, it IS an appearance mod

 

for some reason i think you should save your money and go retrofit. You will be happy in the end. If you don't wanna do that, just go with the second set
