Are projectors worth it?

I was looking at getting some gen 2 projectors on ebay for liek $200. Are they worth getting or are they not any better than stock headlights. Also do you have to do any wiring with gen 2 projectors?

Beg to differ. The projectors look a LOT better and are great. Some people like them and some don't. That decision is squarely yours.

I really like them, and think they are much better then the stock headlights.

If you plan on HID's then yes they are worth it, other then that I vote no...

I hate my projectors, they are garbage and if I didn't have HID's I would have swapped them out a long time ago for painted black headlights

It's a matter of appearance opinion really. If you like the look of halo's then go for it!

Personally I think they look amazing. Is there anything difficult about installing HIDs or is it like changing a regular bulb?

Gen 2 is Sick! Best looking by far! Cobalt16's look really sick cuz his car is black and the ones he has are black so they look perfect. If I was gunna get em, I'd wanna color match them with my Laser Blue!

First gen is the very first projectors with LEDhalos and the 3 LEDs on top, 2nd Gen is the CCFL set up, and 3rd gen are the newest LEDhalos with the LEDs on the bottom

Well with my 2nd gens they look like they use a tougher sealant then the stocker, so i dont think you can "easy bake oven" these ones as easy, i am sure you can figue SOMEthing out!

Son of a gun! For $200 shipped I gotta say they sound like a great Idea.

But just to make sure, the HID's go in there with no problems right? lol
