Hey guys,

This will be my very first mod! I know it's a very small one, but I wanted to know if anyone knows which wires I can tap into so I can wire up the scanner. I want it to come on when it gets sorta dark, and I don't know which wires can handle this. I definitely do not want to wire it straight to the battery and then to a switch, so I wanted to know if anyone of you know which wires I can tap into. It will go beneath the switches for the heater/ac, so I can sorta hide the wire or at least have the least showing, and might be able to make sure of the wires that go to the radio. Otherwise, can anyone suggest a better mounting place for this?

In a nutshell. It's called Raptor Scanners, you see them on Acuras, and instead of dropping this in my Camaro, which is just a show car (everything stock, why mess it up) I figure I'd put it in this car. Christmas present just needs to find a wire.
