That pic was at night. But I will try to get more pics. I have dual cutouts, did that a couple weeks ago, waiting on the exhaust.

There is a HOW-to mutilate you bumper thread that I posted a couple weeks ago.

McKurley> I tried using your LED's but I can't solder to save my life. I should have called McGuyver over to solder it. In the end I ruined those.

I ended up getting some V-LED's and cutting the lights apart. It was fun! I could do a how-to, but then again I didn't take any pictures during the process. And yes I like the fact that it is one huge light and not a bunch of dots.

I used V-leds, buy them on ebay, they plug right in, and I just wired the backup light jack to the parking lights. Pretty basic, but you lose the backup lights.

They are bright like Afterburners on a jet LOL!

Yup I obviously need them , I just didn't want them there. Just don't ram into me at the Wal Mart Supercenter and I'll be okay!

its an ebay store... they have very bright leds that replicate stock bulb connecters and such. So he just bought the one that plugs into the back up lights that has something like 8 red super LEDs. Now what i want to know is the idea for backup lights

Yeah they are an Ebay store. I did not use the little bulbs, I bought the giant Circuit board full of 24 bright LED's a piece. You have to cut the lights apart in the back to fit it in there, so it';s not a easy swap, and you have to wire it up.

I am tossing around a couple ideas for the backup lights. I will not reveal them until I have started the project, kinda pointless to post a hypthetical answer at this point.

Thank you! I will try to host a video once a friend converts it to a viewable format.

cool... i thought you went with the plug and play ones but the board works too... were you able to find one in red or how did you get them to look red (from the pic it looks a lil white so im assuming u got white and painted the housing red or something like that)

just let me know when you get the backup lights done... bc ive been wanting the full reds but probably will end up getting these for back up

and the similar ones for the outsides as well
