I think i might buy some hids to fit in my fogs i have 09 ss/tc cobalt and i was wondering where to mount the ballast cause i already have hids in the headlights. Can i mount them to the side of the bumper near the fog or somewhere else?

 

you can do that or what i did was made a bracket out of plastic that was wide enough for both ballasts to fit under the headlight

 

only one suggestion?

 

I mounted mine on the inside of my bumper

 

There is a little metal compartment inside along the front wall of the bumper, 1 on each side. I just put my ballasts there. Its right above the fog light hole

 

Vince, do what I did. Use double sided tape and tape the ballast to the inside of the bumper. You can look at my set up on Sunday if you wish
