Question about de-badging

So i got my windows tinted today and took the chevy emblem off the back. but when i went to get the front, i noticed that the trim running through the center of the grill is expanded a bit to accomodate the emblem. I was a bit worried it would look stupid with nothing there - does anyone have a picture of an SS without the front emblem (and nothing replacing it?)

there are four holes i beleive behind the front bowtie, it is held in by a nut with bolts coming out of the back of the bowtie, lots of guys have just color matched it to blend it in, to completely get rid of it you would have to cut apart the whole front grill, hope that helps some

I just noticed this myself tonight, as i was debadging the rest of the car accept the SS on the bottom side doors. When I got to that front emblem i ran fishing string through it after heated and it just snapped, looked behind and saw it was bolted in so i knew i'd have to paint it black to match the car the way i wanted... I'll post pics tomorrow.... need batteries for the cam!

Oh ya i used the night shades stuff to paint the emblem up with the silver edging taped off... the garage was dim so i'm hoping tomorrow when i put the other 3 coats on it still looks good.. lol .

I debadged the rest of my car, including SS emblems, but left that one. Gotta have some Chevy pride, and yeah, it will look dumb without it and I'm not motivated enough to do anything to fix it. I'll wait around until someone makes a CF replacement or something.

Thanks man. It's 5% tint all around. The cops here are pretty lax about it. this will be my forth vehicle with 5% all around and i've never been harrased about it. + i just graduated w/ my degree in law enforcement, so with a lil luck i'll be on their side soon! haha.
