i figured that out after a while, and it was starting to cut into my hands but its worth the wait and pain

I have used goo gone to remove everything my side moldings and the nasty GM square on both sides of the car. I didn't need floss or anything but it would have saved me a few minutes probably.

EDIT: does the front one come off to or do I need to unscrew it? I still have it on =(

You unscrew it from the inside, your hand will fit with a socket, but you need to either paint it or deal with the holes left behind. I was thinking of just filling sanding and painting mine but thats a tossed idea.
