Anybody here buy the e-bay black or chrome projector headlights, and are they worth it? I have bought some things on e-bay, and have had NO LUCK. Just curiuos.

Which ones? There are two types for our cars. Here is a link to the CCFL halos. There are pics and a good discussion on setup. They are plug and play so no extra wiring needed. They are available in black and chrome.

I have the chrome version number one and I love the way that they look. Everyone gets black, but I decided to look different from everyone else. I got mine from NGA.

 

Do you like the ones from Cobalt Addiction? And how long did they take to get to you? I am looking towards the black. I have the sunburst orange ss 2.4L

 

They will be the same from ebay or whoever you get them from. The only difference will be customer service.

 

I've got the "new" kind... just installed last night... they look sweet... the light output is great... the packaging was very professional... shipment was prompt.

I bought from e-bay seller k2motor... a reputable power seller...

no problems so far.

 

It took awhile to get only because they actually get theirs from a manufacturer. The black ones sell out way before the chrome.

One more thing, do they have to be adjusted? And do they come with bulbs, or can I use my Silvana Silver Star Ultras?

 

they come with bulbs, (not very good ones)
you cant reuse your bulbs, because the projectors use 2 separate H1 bulbs, one for high, one for low.

They look great but the quality is....medium....

i like my old style projectors... only problem is light output (hids should fix) of the low beams... highs are bright as hell thou
