Morning guys,


Few months ago, thanks to a curb I ripped off the lower lip on the front bumper. There are no cracks in the lip, I just broke the clips that held it on. My question is, rather than buying a new lip, painting it and installing it (local vendor wants 521.00 dollars!) if I use 3M tape to put it back on as well as a few screws to put it back on? I was thinking I could possibly buy the clips and screws from the Chevy dealership?

 

I bought an ss lip for my car that had most the clips broken. I just cut them off and 3m taped that sucker and it has not came off in 2 years lol. Just added the screws on the sides.

 

3M tape used with a proper adhesion promoter holds almost anything.
