question about tint

question about tint

so i wanna tint my windows but then i dont.
i used to have a 05 2.2l and had the windows 2.5% looked good except the back window looks like **** because of those stupid dots at the top it makes the top of the window look like crap

i dont really feel like doing this to my tc and having the back window look like this

so my question is does anyone have any solution to this? i heard you can sand them off but would that scuff the window?

use vinyl to cover the dot matrix. then apply tint normally

If the tint is applied correctly that won't happen. Just sayin...

Had a friend of mine that does tint do mine and I have no bubbling over the dot matrix on mine.

ya i have a few dots showing but nuthin major so maybe the guy who did urs just didnt no what he was doing

same here...no bubbling on mine either. If the person tinting knows what he's doing it will be fine.

damn its too late for me.

i just waited till about 2 days after mine were tinted then basically used my thumb to push out excess air/water from the matrix. still not perfect 2 months after getting the tints but its def. not as noticeable. but yea if u ain't done it yet the vynil sounds like a great idea

The tint guy I went too said that you aren't supposed to tint over the dot matrix but I can't remember his reasons. Anyways I don't have the dot matrix tinted and it looks fine to me.
