Question for those who know how to buff out scratches

Someone keyed my car. I know that it's deep enough that it needs paint but i can't afford that right now so I'm gonna try to buff it out. I don't have a buffer so I'm gonna try to use my dremel. Again...I know this isn't the right way but humor me for a minute. Should i use a felt wheel/tip(414 Felt Polishing 1/2" Wheels / Model: 414 / 422 Felt Polishing Cone / Model: 422) or a cloth wheel(423 Cloth Polishing Wheel / Model: 423)?
Lastly, what RPM?

Don't do it haha. A dremmel will eat through your paint so fast even with the correct attachments. Ask me how I know.

I'm pretty sure that even on the slowest setting a dremel is way too fast for this.

With the right speed and pressure I'm thinking it might be doable-ish. First I'll try and do my best by hand before resorting to the dremel.

Do not use the dremel! it has to fast of a speed you'll burn your paint. As far as the scratches take your finger nail across them and if it catches there to deep, if not they can probably come out. Take it to a shop, my shop does peoples cars for free sometimes.

I know right. I know I'll get raped here in Cali.

Ok you guys have talked me out of it. I'm gonna try it by hand and post up in the regional thread and see if anyone has connections.

Thanks
