Question on Tinting Windows

I've scheduled an appointment to put tints on my new car. The local area Autoglass company wants $189 total for the whole tinting process regardless what color and how dark I want them. I want to know if that sounds like a good deal?

I haven't really called around other places but I can assure you that it will be about the same or maybe more. Just want to know if that sounds reasonable. Please post your experience.

I go in on the 3rd of August for this but not before I get my new RK Sport valance installed first and painted.

that price sounds absolutely reasonable so long as they use quality tint (one that wont fade, peel, bubble)

I got mine done for $90 and it was at the most popular place to get them around here and they did a hell of a job. (Original price was 100 but i had a 10% off coupon)

For $175 I got 5% in the rear windows and Sunroof, %50 in the front windows, and an eyebrow. $189 sounds like a good price, may I sugget Limo tint for your rear windows and most likely a lighter tint for the front windows so police wont be bothering yah.

I paid $190cdn.. So about $150amr..

That gave my the tint all the way around and the eye brow on the front window.. This company did an excellent job. The tint stuck awesome and the Dot Matrix part.. Well I have never seen tint stick so good to that stuff in my life.. The tint completety stuck to all my dot matrix..

I got 20% all around.. It's nice and dark.. And its not too dark at night.. I mean you can't see into the car with the 20% but inside the car you can still back up nice. With 5% it's almost impossible if you ask me. I had it in one of my cars and I just couldn't see nothing when backing up. 20% is even hard to back up sometimes

I got 15% on my SRT for 4dr with the sunroof done and the glare strip in the front. They charged me $140 and I got a warranty. It all depends on where you live.

I just got 20% all around and it was $150. like SRT-4Scott said it depends on where you live. But for $189 I still think that's a fairly good deal.

i live in pittsburgh and i got several quotes ranging from 2 to 3 hundred so 180 is a good deal for around here

i'm pondering the idea of getting custom tint kits. i've seen them for like 70bux and they are cut to perfect size/shape for any vehicle. just get them and put them on.

i paid 75 for my car and then another 50 for a second layer to put ontop when i wanted them darker. I have 20% ontop of 5% in the front and 5% ontop of 5% in the back. I also got a 2 year warranty with it. I dont know where any of you live, but no one i know pays 100 bucks for tints even a 4 door car. i live in miami if that makes a difference

its about $150 for a two door car here and 180 for a 4 door. and thats in Nebraska where prices should be lower. but the quality is amazing. We get 20% on every vehicle all around.
