question, trying to impliment foot rest option for ions/ other question
I know ION owners frequent this forum, and ionforums has less this on ot already. as most of you know, most cars have that nice little chunk of plastic next to the kick panel to rest your foot on, I am not sure if you guys know about it or not, but IONs now have a solution for this, it is called a foot rest, PN 10382007, available at your local chevy dealership. It comes as a foam block, then you find or make a pedal/cover for it. I personally have ordered one for $13 and am making the cover (probably a summer one and a winter one) out of some scrap .080 aluminum plate. I am currently trying to tint resin and make a resin covered pedal to match the stock look, if anyone knows how, please let me know. also, a related question, the ion dashes are a two material dash, dense foam rubber and plastic, I want to fill the HUGE gaps in the dash, what would bond to both and be tintable or dyeable to the dash color, and where do I get the correct color for this? (same question for the first one, too)
I wanted to get it right, since I can (awesome that this forum gives you that option) I did. ideally I want one resin encapsulated one and one bare polished one. Both could end up equally impressive, we'll see, if I get the dash figured out, I'll be ecstatic. I'll let you guys know how it work out.

and the cobalt doesn't have a dome light if you have a sunroof, WTF!!! GM forgot some simple things on both models, how is anyone's guess, as they are all things that would make both cars class leading vehicles.
im talking about the pigments they make specifically for resin
