I was thinking about putting some halo projectors on my silver cobalt. I was deciding between the black or chrome. I cant decide and would like your feedback. Are the halos worth the money? or should i just get the bulb kit?

 

what color car do you have? most go with black though. im confused about the rest of your questions though...

 

i said "on my silver cobalt" but yea, im tryin to see if they are worth getting or if i should just get some bulbs instead.

 

with the projectors you will have a better cutoff line. personally i believe with proper aiming, the stock housings are fine for HID's. if you do choose to get the projectors, i prefer black but in the end its your car

 

i just ordered mine so i couldn't tell you first hand how good they are but everybody has told me they are great.. they tell me that the projectors could use a hid kit to help out some but the high beams are great though.. i would say go black with your silver balt.. black goes good with that color.. and i ordered a set of lights that no one on here has yet so i guess i'll be the first to test them out and let everyone know bout em..

go black, hmm, does anybody know what bulbs the projectors use? cuz ima order the newer style ones, and i wanted to have purple light, so i wanted to see what bulb they had for the beams, so i can go ahead and order the purples

 

what are you callin the newer style? there is three different styles now if im not mistakin.. here they are from oldest to newest.. the newest is the ones i just ordered and no one else seems to have them yet..

What the **** is up with that little lightbar? It makes the whole light look stupid, otherwise, I like the last ones..

 

sorry guys i accidently post the same link twice.. the second and third one is different now.. and yeah that light bar on the ccfl lights really do mess up the way they look.. im gettin the third one.. they look the best to me..

 

lol, that bar does look weird, but yeah the third one is the one i meant, i wanted to see if anybody knew the bulbs, cuz i wanna order them at the saem time as the projectors that way they get here close to each other and i can install it all at once, plus i like the newer ones cuz they make it so that i can still have eyelids w/put covering anythign important
