man i would love to see some stripes on a white balt. i personally would go with red, since i love the way it looks on the new white shelby gt 500's look (theres like 9 of em just sitting at a dealership around my house and they all look badass), but black would be kickass too. And powdercoat those rims black, that would be kickass

just FYI Chevy has stripes available from the parts department -- silver and black only (silver stripes can be bought as a kit, black stripes have to be purchased separately). You could deal with the salesman about them putting them on your car before delivery if you want them to be "factory".

Maybe stripes aren't for everybody -- but if you want them that's all that matters.

just about any color goes with white. Black is most common, but I think a nice vibrant blue adds a nice contrast. Just don't do purple or I'll have to kick your ass. Granted nobody likes purple but me so I'm sure a lot of other people would wanna kick your ass too.

Stripes look good if you get the right color, there is nothing wrong with it.

Yeah, Personally I prefer the clean look of the balt without the stripes, however I've seen a couple balts with stripes and they didn't look too bad.

If you do get stripes I'd have them stretch all the way down to the front fascia, and not get cut off at the hood.

Although like 1yr ago on Forza 2 I created a white SS/SC and put black racing stripes, and black rims and I thought it looked pretty bad ass...

Thank god they finally offered white on the SS/TC... I'm definitely getting one and powdercoating the stock rims black, but w out the stripes...

NVM, I understand now. They're all noobs...
haha The first thing I looked at was join dates.

Anyways...they can look real good on a Cobalt. Just make sure it's colors that contrast real well. And make sure you get it professionally done... that's the only way it'll come out good.

A yellow SS/TC will turn enough heads as it is. I'm not a huge fan of it but post pics when you guys do the stripes plz.
