I just realized the title of this thread is wrong.....they're not "racing stripes", they're just "stripes" over the car. That's like calling the spoilers "racing spoilers"

 

most important thing to remember is it's your car. do what you want.

IMO stripes look good on alot of cars, theres quite a few striped cobalts on CSS.net that look good as hell.

No it's like "lowering springs" instead of just "springs", the word before provides a bit more information. The stripes are racing-inspired, hence the name.

a white SS/TC will look terrific enough without the help of stripes

 

it can look good if done correclty

 

i say they only look good if they cover the whole entire car( front to back) not just the hood and stop at the trunk

It all depends if ur going for a sleeper look or a race car look. Stripes on a SS with a high profile wing look awsome. pERSONALLY i LIKE THE THINNER MUSTANG LIKE STRIPES YOU GUYS HAVE THAT RUN DOWN THE BODY KIT. sorry for caps

When I used to play the original Call of Duty. Used to be GestapoHunter, but then somewhere down the line it was taken, so i shortened it to gestapo, and i just use it for everything now. like xbox live and ****. im not like a **** or nothing lol. Just kinda stuck and i like the way it sounds.

 

Here's the info on the silver GM stripe package (coupe and sedan)....haven't seen a kit for the black stripes -- those have to be purchased separately.

Mine came with red stripes on the sides. Took them off as soon as I got home from the dealership

they look decent as long as they aren't gaudy.

 

I like the pin stripe on my yellow car cause it breaks up the yellow. Otherwise its alil too much. But i like the look without pinstripes on ur car. looks nice and clean
