i was seeing what every ones oppinion on the spoiler issue that is being addressed should i keep on the high rise go back to the low rise or swap trunks and go wingless

 

anything but the high rise.

preferably wingless

 

if you have a drop. go wingless. i've been trying to for a while but can't find someone with a laser blue that would want the highrise, or i can't find someone who will trade outright and just pay for repaint.

im going to bet that people who like the high rise, in general, want to stand out, there the type of person to have a bunch of decals and SS badges on there car. While the guy who wants wingless will almost always debadge.


iv been on here long enough to kno, and it makes sense if u think about it.

Not always. I kept my high rise because I got the chance to drive a wingless SS on a road course, which is the type of "fun" I like to have in my car. There was a very noticeable difference in handing (keep in mind this is at much higher than highway speeds) - my car stuck through the higher speed turns whereas the wingless was incredibly tweaky and was no where near as stable. So if that's something you want to do with the car, you might want to consider the high rise.

Also, if you want to auto-x the car in stock class you must have either the low- or high-rise spoiler on the car, you can't go wingless and run in stock class.

Other than that, it's personal taste. Honestly I think the SS's look a little better with the high rise, it kind of sets them apart IMO, but I can also understand why people would want something a little more subtle.

 

jesus!!!! why do you always have to think for people. just cuz people have a high rise spoiler doesnt mean they wanna stand out. ive seen alot of high rise spoilers with no stickers . or ss badges. just a year ago people werent talking about going wingless. so now that maybe one person did it. everybody else is doing it. i guess just like you. A follower.

 

??? people were always talking about going wingless, and from being around cars a while i kno how it is. not saying its everyone but for the most part if u have the high rise ur looking to stand out.

 

for me it all depends on the color
black = wingless
yellow = high rise
red = low rise

 

so now i guess its rice if you have a high rise spoiler. damn near everything is rice now. betcha thats whats gonna happen. my spoiler is a little high rise but i dont care if i do stand out

N my vote is high rise or wingless don't waste the time on the gay low rise(if you have the low rise buy a carbon fiber trunk and stay wingless)
