well.. basically i was going through a touchless wash that had no timer on the dryer... "go as slow as you want.. take as long as you want"... ya right... i was almost out of the thing and the door came down (hard!) on my bumper... and scratched my trunk

the attendant said the sensors were turned off because the ice in the winter messes them up (it was 14 degrees that day ) and now of course i am left with a scratched cobalt and a gas station owner who says it isn't possible... well let me tell you, it is!

See, mine doesn't have a door. Its just like a open garage. All you do is drive into the guide, which is properly covered with rubber guards, and let the wash do its thing. There is no dryer, but there is a spot free spray.

Also, i was over a good friend of the familys house and he owns a car autobody shop and i asked him what the best car wash kit was, and surprisingly he said the auto dry mr. clean kit. I was kind of happy he said that ... lol

Well, i got my Mr. Clean auto dry kit today, so im really siked to use it. It came to around $34, which isn't bad at all. They carry the soap at Walmart, but i didn't see any filters there. Does anyone know where i might be able to get some for cheap? *besides ebay*

It works pretty good, I still end up hand waxing it anyway, so the auto dry for no spots is kinds useless for me. Plus with the refill soap and replacement filters, its cheaper to just go to a wash bay and do it yourself for $6. I vacuum whenever I wash, so its easier to do it all at once.

$26.99 for kit or $39.99 for Pro kit (5 times stronger spray)
$8.99 for soap
$8.99 for filters

I have one, and I do use it, but usually only when I want to clean the car and its like 2 days before payday and I'm broke.

I use it and it's very very good,

But I don't use the Mr. Clean soap, I put Meguires, and it does the job very well
