Re-painting the wheels

So here I am with flaking wheels. I had a post similar to this one but the color choises has changed. I can get:

Option 1: Re-painted wheels, same color
Option 2: The interior of the rims painted gunmetal with the front spokes machined and cleacoated
Option 3: The interior of the rim a light silver metallic and spokes dark silver metallic.

What do you guys think would be hotter??

Do you have pictures of your wheels?? I would prefer option 1&2 as there are a few SS/SC around here and that would be totally different. I think it would be fun to have something different!!

.

In hatrickstu's thread they photoshopped a set on a red balt and it looked pretty sick. I plan on doing it to my ss/sc winter wheels once my rota's come in.

See I like that, just not the black thats all. Like a gunmetal would be nicer i think!

But wouldnt the machined look alot "classier". Imagine driving at night downtown woth all the light hitting the chrome like finish!?

hattrickstu. I know you love your wheels, but do you think that what i want would look good. I mean its copying yours just going a tint or two lighter. I mean if my car was black i would do the same, but mine car is red and iam not big on the black.

I did a ton of taping (about 4 hours) then sanded back the surface i wanted painted...used Adhesion promoter wheel primer, prime, sand, paint, clear, remove tape, neaten edges, clear again over entire wheel.

Powder coating is very durable. More so then paint when done correctly. You can get a glass finish when done properly by a professional.
