Re-painting the wheels

Yeah its a bit more for powder coating but the paint is so much more durable that cost kinda pays for itself since you won't have to get them repainted.
The paint is positively charged and the metal is negatively charged and when sprayed teh paint flows onto the metal. its then baked for a few hours where the paint melts and cures onto the surface for a nice smooth layer.
ok, well thats what i though it did. I just thought you couldnt get a smooth finish with the powder coating. The issue is GM is paying to get my wheels re-painted. So I would have to pay the difference. Anyone know how much i could expect to pay extra to get that done total (for the 4 wheels)?
Well so you guys know, I went with option 3
I got the spokes painted a shade darker than stock, and the interior 2 shades lighter. All metallic and 4 coats of clearcoat!! I'll show you in a month or so when i get them back the final results ;-)
