Ready to start my appearance mods this winter

K so i have had my Rally Yellow LS for over a year now...34xxxkms later lol And im getting sick of the same looks of it. I dont got tons of money so i plan on starting with the cheaper mods. I will be getting rims for Xmas however. So basically heres where i need some advice. I wanna paint my headlights and tint my tails. Theres sumtin about black on yellow that has me wanting to do this, but i keep hearing people talk about contrast and so on. Basically would it looks like **** if i painted my Headlights black and tinted my tails? Also how would color matched headlights look on yellow as opposed to black? Advise or even pics of a yellow balt with black tails and heads would be nice. Oh and of course i do plan on slamming the beast when i get the money. Probably gonna go with the tenzos since their cheap and havnt heard much bad around on them

JMHO...but too much yellow is worse than some contrast.

Black tints would be MUCH better than yellowing your lights. I don't think it would contrast...I think it would complement the look.

But regardless of opinion...do what feels best for you. That's all that matters in the long run.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was thinking of the front with my post. You can always give the eyelid effect...some yellow on top and black the rest of the way. I've seen a few balts with that general look...and it looks good. But yellow all the way might be too much.

Not sure if I would go THAT dark. Maybe something like 35 tint and eyelids. I'd check some of the pics on here to see what you think looks good.

No matter what...show what you've done.

For me with a silver SC...it's been all about the lighting!

whatever floats your boat...one's just a good as the other for looks...just make sure that when you reseal, you do it in a dry place...otherwise you'll be dealing with the condensation.
