I would but I do not know him on facebook or use it. I did email him using the forum and PM'ed him but had not response. At this moment its not exactly worth the hassle and I might as well cut my losses. Maybe some of you have better luck than me. I asked if he was still planning on making them and if he decided he did not want to do the group thing if I could get him to just make the one set for me since I sent him the emblems. If he does not want to do them I am ok with that too but would like to get the emblems back so I can look for someone that can. I had no luck getting a hold of him though. I was not mean in anyway and am easy to work with. You would think in a year we would have heard at the least what the status is on them. Am I wrong to think that?


Just that I put faith into this posting and paid for and shipped the emblems with the hope to have a product to be made for all of us and there has been no updates and I cannot get a hold of the guy to find out what his thoughts are on it. So I am out the money I put into this when I could have put it toward this company that could have had them made in a month. I thought I was helping out everyone that was interested in these but it does not appear anything will become of it. I have had good luck with most things on here but this time not so much. It sucks when you invest into something but get no gains and that is my own fault. Sometimes things are just too good to be true. I still hope something will become of it for everyone else but my faith has become limited.

So basically what it sounds like your saying is this is my fault? I cannot help but disagree to the extent that the forum is supposed to be build on the honesty and passion of the Cobalt and car community where all of us share the same passion. We all come here as enthusiasts to expand our knowledge and things we can do with our cars. Not to lose out on what could have been. I have noticed that is a shame how many people I have heard say they decided to move to facebook group over the forum. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and these. Some might agree and others might not. It is what it is I cannot change it.

Hopefully he does. I have seen his work of the stuff he has made for his car and it looks great!

I think I read somewhere here the guy who said he would do them like disappeared or something.
I might just dip mine black, or get them hydro dipped.

 

He bailed, f'd over a few members he was doing dash pieces for too IIRC so we got lucky.

 

Surprise that doesn't happen more often actually. I bought an ss sunroof bezel off Facebook, sent like ten upfront but got it with legit receipt and everything.

 

Most people are pretty good about following through with this stuff on forums but there's always something bad apples.

 

Cad posted a pic of the mold not to long ago on fb. I think he still needed to do some last touches
