Real Carbon Fiber Bowties
Yes I do vacuum bag the caps and will do same with these. Vacuum bag from a mold gives a precise consistent shape. Then trim by hand for touch ups. To do entire piece by hand leaves too much took for error IMO
I am going to check with the dealer tomorrow and see what my cost on these emblems are and I if they are cheap I might be able to help everyone that wants these out. Will have to see what my buddy there says hopefully he won't have a limit on the amount I can get from them.
Do here's wut I'm thinking I would do. Obtain a set. Do the first set. Then the buyer of that set would send me theirs and I would ship the done set to them and then have their old ones to do for next person in line. How does that sound to u guys?
The first set I can get brand new so you can make the mold with very few imperfections.
Well I would have one done before having urs sent to me. So once I received urs, I would send out the finished one. Then make the new one and ship put to next customer when it was complete and I had theirs. These shouldn't take long to turn around at all. Especially if I get this new job it will give me more time in garage

As soon as we get the price and everyone agrees on it, along with any other details worked out. Let me know so I can make sure I have these badges to send to you (Melon).
Depending on price I may also want a rear also to go with the 2 fronts.
I should hopefully have plenty of time later this afternoon to check price/availability of these emblems and pick them up if they are instock since my work schedule got switched to graveyard.

Ok I called my buddy at Fox/Autonation Chevrolet of Laurel today and he quoted me:
$16.06 excluding tax for the Front
$33.65 excluding tax for the Rear
Tried to see if the other dealer closer to me could give them to me cheaper but they told me it would be
$21.42 Front
$44.87 Rear
But will give them to me for same price as Fox
I looked around online crateenginedepot.com has the Front for $15.19 but not the Rear.
The best price I found for the Rear was around $20 on ebay without the box. With the box was $40 because the fancy, GM box made of thin cardboard cost $20 dollars on its own?! lol Better get a wall mount display and put the empty box in it may be worth more in the future!
