Rear bumper or lip with no exhaust cut-out

so i put on my side exit exhaust yesterday and now i need something to replace the ugly looking empty exhaust cut out on the rear bumper/lip.

does anyone know where i could find an aftermarket bumper or lip that at least has an unnoticeable exhaust cut out, or ideally not exhaust cut out what so ever.

just want the back bumper to look smooth. as loud as the side exit exhaust is, it doesnt look too good having no exhaust coming from the rear cut-out to cops im sure.

i dont care what it is, or what it looks like, im just trying to get some ideas together on what to do about the rear bumper/lip.

right now its coming down to these options:
-trade someone my lip and/or rear bumper for one that has no cut-out
-fabricate some plastic to match the other side of the lip, giving a solid rear lip
-purchase an aftermarket rear bumper or lip with an unnoticeable cut out or none at all

all i care is that it matches the rest of the stock SS bodykit. ultimately i would love something that looks exactly like stock but without the cut-out.

so does anyone know of any rear bumpers or lips that have no cut-out, or does anyone have one for sale/trade?

yep... thats basically the road block ive come to in finding an aftermarket part. wasnt sure if someone knew of some place that had a bumper or lip id be looking for.

ive been looking at the rear lip, and it really doesnt seem like it would take much work to clean up the exhaust cut-out.

i got a decent idea for it too. instead of molding the fill in piece right to the bumper, im going to possibly see if i could fab together a way to have the fill in piece snap onto the rear bumper from the inside edge and then secure it with some tiny metal clamps on the inside edge again.

i figure if the fill in piece lines up nice enough, it will only be noticeable from a few feet away, and will be really easy to remove in case i decide to go back to a rear exit exhaust.

i also did find some aftermarket bumpers that have no clear cut exhaust cut-out, but they were fairly hideous so i think id rather avoid them.

valance is just a fancy word for lip. and yes that would work, and yes it would look very nice. hmmmm....

well im going to pick up some foam or clay today on the way home and sculpt myself a molding for the rear lip. if i think its going to look good then i might give a shot making a fiber glass fill-in for the exhaust cut-out and see how that would fit in.

yeah, after look at it today, i am going to give that rk sport lip a shot. looks like it should fit ok and look nice too.

id rather not mess around with my stock lip in case i need to put everything back to stock if i decide to sell or some other reason.

Oh I didn't install it, it's gonna be too low for me, clearance is an issue, 4 inches hight is not enought. I'm gonna sell it, it's brand new in the box.

Cobalt LS dropped on sportlines, with the well kept roads here and driving in snow, it's not gonna do it for me.

ahhhh... ok i thought maybe your were saying the rk sport lip just dips really low to begin with. im not planning on lowering my car anytime soon so it should work nice with my car.

o and it says on the website it comes with painting instructions, curiously, what does it say to do in terms of painting the lip?
