Before my divorce I owned a 1985 Vett. The Cobalt is just begging for a kit for this mod. The rear window on the Vett was hinged at the top and gas struts on either side held it up, it was latch on the bottom to lock it. I wonder if someone on the fourm has the skills to do this, I bet there is! Just a thought for my 1st post.

 

i have thought of this also. Youd have to get rid of the rear speaker deck, but im down to make one.

Don't forget you will loose stiffness if the window is no longer sealed in.
