Red cobalt with bowtie overlays?

Thinking about buying some overlays for the balt since my dad won't let me seriously mod it until I pay him back, but a 10 dollar set of stickers could be a nice way to feed the urge

Was hoping to see some with the black overlays, but any color is welcome to post

Where did you or your friend get the overlays? I was thinking of ordering some but I read that you can still see the gold part of the bowtie on the edges.

$5 didn't really check the website for depth on the SS overlays but it has the front and rear bowtie ones.

just gotta know what you're doing, good work takes time!

I just masked off the chrome of the bowtie, and painted the bowties black, could do the same for the chrome part, dont really like the idea of those vinyls... have done this to muine and 2 other buddys cobalts. front and back. backs a lil tricky cause i masked off the whole ass end of the car to prevent any over spray!

tinted my tailights just like this, ended up re-doing the reverse ones, makes backing up a bitch! so i lightly tinted the reverse part and blacked the other part out.

well the problem I have with painting the bow tie (up front) is that it just chips. And I find it irritating like a yeast infection to continuously paint the front bowtie piece.

I have yet to receive one chip on my front bow tie and it's been painted for over a year. it's all in the prep work and how you paint it.

krylon made for plastic has worked great!
