ditto! i painted 2 last year sometime. 1 of them was driving year around. no problems with either of them, have been painting mine (delay cause of weather), but think i wanna keep the SS badge there instead.

use a 600+ grit sand paper to scuff the surface, prep-all the surface (removes all oils or anything that could defect paint)

I used the krylon plastic paint (2 coats) and a couple coats of clear. using 2000+ grit between sprays to break down any debris. didnt use prep-all between paint, cause it'll remove what you did.

$5 for a can and if you do it right, be like me and charge other people a lil $$ to paint theirs. costs you nothing!!!
