Red LED projector ohio law?

Just installed new projector headlights and they have red led lights. Should I expect to get pulled over?

yes in the US you can only have white or amber lights in the front of your can and red or amber lights in the rear of your car.

That's eventually what I'm going to do. For now I'm goin to buy white led's to put in there to kind of drown out the red halo's. They aren't to bright but I'm not trying to take any chances

They are terrible here. They will pull you over and ticket you for anything if you are driving around after midnight. I got pulled over for my license plate light being out

whattttt?? lol where ya from? I had 5% tint on my cobalt, tinted tails, I was basically murdered out. Ive only been pulled over for speeding a couple times and they never got me for anything except the speeding ticket, besides once a trooper asked me to take my tinted license plate cover off so he could read my plates. Ive only been pulled over twice by state troopers. lol Im usualy respectable and honest with them anyway.

They are illegal in Ohio. Other then breaklights, you can have red and blue lights on the car, but they have to be under the car, facing the ground. Atleast that was the law years ago. Not sure if it's changed since though

Live in a small Town outside of Youngstown. The cops are bad, I've gotten pulled over 3 times, all in same town. Once for cracked windshield, once for subs being to loud and for the license plate light.

Anyway took the car for a ride just to see what they are like and it's really not noticeable except up close, so I think replacing the 3 red led's with white will be fine with the halo's red.
