Red Stripes and Black Bowtie

Sunday I got bored, so I decided to paint my bowties. Well at the store I decided to pick up some red pin striping and see if this would look good (been thinking about it for a while ever since I got my rims and SS overlays)

It is very subtle but I think it looks extremely good with my rims, calipers, and overlays

Let me know what you guys think, sorry for the quality its my cellphone
I did my back bowtie too but they are everywhere you guys know what they look like

ok I got it up finally, i know i need to wash it but im lazy right now

I'll try to get some farther away pics up a little later in between school and work, but with my phone quality sucks.

It is actually a decently bright red, as in not too "hey look at me" but still matches the other reds on my car. Like I said, subtle I don't think unless I got a good camera you guys would be able to see it in a picture from far away, but in person you can tell. If my gf is still at the house when I get home I'll see if she has her camera on her.

Yeah no go its too bright my camera phone puts so much shadow and glare you can barely even see the car I'm getting the gf to bring over the camera soon so maybe tomorrow I'll get some better pics up

Well the wheels I didn't touch, those are just the MSR 045's black w/ red stripe I can't take credit for how good those look lol
http://www.msrwheels.com/auto_car_wheels.cfm?id=411#

the only stripes I played with were on the bumpers

If I could make the stripes on the wheel wider I would, but they are in an indention basically and where the black is it is higher up than the red, so if I made the part on the side of it red I don't think it would look right, as it would go up then down then up. Maybe it would, who knows.

hailcesar: I like those hotswaps with the red around it, have you tried red for the spokes to see how it looked, or red lip w/ red inserts? Unless you just like a little chrome

I had the silver hotswaps with the red inserts. Not gonna go that route again. I think it'll be too much red. I'm gonna get the carbon fiber spokes.

yeah I saw how it was kinda misleading lol but I was just showing the side of the bumper and then the rims to show a comparison/ how it looked together.

I got the stock tire size because I wanted to keep my speedo the same. 215/45/18 maybe? It is the smallest width you would want to run with the 045's. My chevy dealership said they couldn't recalibrate my speedo. I wanted to get either 225 or 235 for better traction but decided against it little things like that tick me off.
