Redline goods shift boot installed

I kinda wished the medium blue matched the arrival blue interior a bit better. But that could just be an issue with 6 years of fading on my interior.

very nice. was the boot hard to install? did you have to staple it to the console ring?

The stapling was the hardest part. I figured the old boot was stapled, might as well staple in the new one. However, I didn't have a stapler that could get through the plastic. So I had to use the holes from the old one, and then bend them with a pair of needle nose pliers.

Also, I had the top of my shift knob glued on because the clips broke about 40,000 miles ago. But that's a little bit on related.

Just around two weeks. It was shipped from Poland.

Looks good but I wish that the blue would look better where the black is on the boot. Also black stitching would look better.

You mean swap the blue and the black? Because you can order them that way. You also have a variety of stitching options. But I was disappointed that the stitching on that one corner stopped an inch from the top.

Its a bitch to staple them to the ring lol. I bet stapling took 3x longer than the rest of the swap.

I was too lazy to just take it to work and staple it with a better one lol. I used a normal stapler and probably about 1/5 of them actually went through.
