Question Removal of the Gas Pedal?

I am trying to install some sparco pedals on my sc. Does anyone know how to remove the plastic cover for the gas pedal? The clutch and brake are easy to remove the rubber covers, but i can't figure out the gas. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

you are better off removing the whole assembly, just a few bolts and it comes out after you disconnect the harness

plus the pedal is 1 piece....

So in other words, I would need to replace the whole assembly to be able to use my new gas pedal. I really should of asked this question prior to ordering.

Anyone want to buy a set of Sparco's? Never used, only thrown in anger once.
