Removal of LEDs in CCFL projectors....
has anyone ever done this? im talking about the 3 singular leds at the top of the housing of the ccfl projos.
if so, how can it be done? did you disconnect wires, or open the housing?
i find my car looks too feminine with them on. they look like eyelashes lol.
thanks guys

easiest way would be to disconnect the wires.. they wont come on like that.. other than that someone that has the ccfl's would have to chime in here cuz i have the new third gens so i dont know a whole lot bout the ccfl's..

ya...the only problem is...its gonna have to be trial and error with the disconnecting of the wires...since its not clear as to which wire actually powers them

If you're gonna just disconnect them, make it so you can hook em back up. Any lights that are there, have to work to pass a safety, whether they're functional or not.(might just be a regional thing)
There was another thread on here where someone failed a safety because one of their LED's was out.
