Removing door gaurds

I'm not sure what they're called the gaurd that runs horizontally down the door to protect your doors from other people slamming their doors into the side of your car. Anyway, along those lines, i've been thinking about removing them, just cause i prefer the look with them absent. Is it just like debadging or is there another step...or is completely different?

Suggestions...

Yeah, same exact process as debadging... just on a slightly larger scale.

Yeah.. what they said...

No, it's simple, pull off the molding, wipe the excess adhesive off and you're done. Did it on my Cavalier when I had it.

use a hair dryer to heat the glue after you pull the trim off it maked it a lot easier and rub it off with a towel
