Removing Nightshades Tint

Anyone got an idea how to remove nightshades spray tint from taillights? i decided to go a different route with em an i'd like to avoid buyin a new set ($100 was the cheapest i could find). I'm not sure if paint thinner is the way to go. thanks for any help.

i used Nightshades on my headlights at one point, and didnt like it, i used Paint thinner and it took it off, made sure it wasnt melting the plastic so i did a little spot and took it off right away.

paint thinner, as well as nail polish remover would work. pretty much anything with acetone in it. good luck, and make sure they're dry before the re-install, god knows you'd cry if it dripped on your bumper.

^this is probably the best option, at least the easiest.

laquer thinner does not work on modern day paint, and in my opinion probably wouldnt work on nightshade.. it might, but i doubt it.

I went to home depot, bought some lacquer thinner and applied it to the tinted brake lights with a rag and the tint came off easily.

call vht direct and ask them

do NOT use any type of thinner, or brake cleaner.

also, don't use 800 grit paper unless you like having sand marks in your lights.
