retrofit question

how high do you have your cutoff off the ground? just got my set leveled and sealed them up. now i need to adjust the height but dont know how far to go up.

at 25' away from a wall, on perfectly level ground, the upper step of the cutoff is supposed to be a 2" drop from the height of your projectors. However that can be hard to gauge. Really as long as when following at a distance, the cutoff doesn't sit much above the rear bumper of an average sized family sedan in front of you, you're good to go. Just make sure your cutoff isn't bouncing into people's eyes too much and you won't have a problem. You obviously don't want them too low because it will just be hard to see

well im lowered. lol so even my stock headlights with HID's didnt sit too much above the bumper. but 2 inches below projector. got it. thanks tommy! will have to see where im at tomorrow. i dont know any level ground that i can get 25 feet away. lol! will probably try the car wash down by my house. thanks again. will post pics once everythings said and done.

Pull up 25 feet behind your nearest grocery store. Most all of them have level ground near the loading dock. The concrete blocks are all nice and uniform and level and are a standardized 8x8x16 allowing for the mortar in between. Makes it really easy to find your drop without even needing to run up to the wall with a tape measure.

thats a spect-*******-tacular idea. i can just use the loading dock at my work(work at a highschool) plenty of room back there!
