Retrofit questions

Just bought some retrofit parts off another member, and had some questions on how to wire them up. I got a 9007 relay harness (from buyHIDs) 2 ballasts, and 2 bulbs w/harness.

I need to know where the red and green circled connectors go, and what the yellow plugs are for on the bulb harness. I haven't bought projectors yet, want to make sure I don't need to order anything else along with them. I'll be getting the Morimoto minis soon. I've looked through the stickies and searched, just found other styles of harness or projectors.

Red circle plugs are black and blue wire, green are orange and black.

One goes into the ballasts, and one goes to the hi/low solenoid on the projector

As for the connections on the bulb, get a better picture... I don't know what those seperate wires are for?

You're better off just buying the complete kit, comes with everything you need.

He already has this kit tho. No sense spending extra money unless he's missing something

green goes to ballasts
red goes to high/low solonoid
yellow circles stay disconnected due to you running a relay

I'm 95% sure this is right, but this is a older version of the TRS relay harness than I have now currently so its been a while since I remember using one

plug them in if they dont work switch them. That is an old harness not sure why TRS would ship that unless it was from awhile ago. Also the yellow plugs you can remove them as in a retrofit you only use the AMP connectors.

Here is a pic of the bulb w/harness

Thanks for the plug info, wasn't sure if things would get damaged if plugged in wrong. And yes this is an older harness, I bought it off another member who is selling his car.

Would the 60mm halo rings work with the morimoto H1 minis? Or the 80mm? I'm finding conflicting info

you see those wires with the spade connectors? Cut the ends off and rip those out. Those are unnecessary

that depends on which shroud you are using

Ok good. I was wondering WTF they were for. As for shroud it would be the ones for morimoto mini, probably Gatling gun.

Is there a practical difference between H1s and minis?
