rim/tire size question

rim/tire size question

need to figure out what size rims/tires would fit my 06 LS? right now she has the stock hubcaps with steelies...im really diggin the American Racing Casino in black...


anybody have suggestions? thanks

Well if you go with 17's then i would suggest 45 series tires. I have 40's on my 17 in wheels and they are a little too small for my taste. Also if you go with 18's i would imagine that 40 series tires would be perfect.

You should definitely lower it at some point if you get bigger wheels, though. Stock wheel gap is ridiculous.

i think i have it narrowed down to the Casino's in the pic above or these from tirerack
prolly gonna be 18s

You will need to find new rims that have the same bolt pattern as your original tires.

As far as deciding what size rims/tires to get, use a calculator like this to get an estimate of what size you can change to... http://www.net-comber.com/tirecalc.html

You want a bolt pattern of 4x100. A common size to go for as far as 18's go is 18x7.5 (rim diameter)x(rim width). But anything close to that width (+/- .5 inches or so) will probably be fine, as far as I know.
