I have emailed RKSport about 4 days ago and didn't get a response. I was wondering if the Coupe body kit could go on to my LS with the Sport Package. I see on their site it says it does not fit on the SS or LS w/ Sport package but I have seen both types of cars with it on. Does it require any more work/parts if I wanted to buy this ?

I talked to frank @ rksport, he said that the kit fits every cobalt coupe, exceptions for extra work would include bodyshop labor for removal of stock '' ss'' kits, etc. Other than that, there should be no problems.

 

They need to reword their ad and just say it doesn't fit the SS cars, period.

rk sport doesnt care

they had wrong info in their instructions for the eco cavalier intake , i gave them the correct info to fix , and they naver made the change

also gave them info on people selling headers for the eco cavalier using 100% of rk's info including picture , and they did nothing


their customer service sucks , and has sucked , people go through that place like a turnstlye


their parts fit very well , but their c/f quaility sucks , their resonse to air bubble in the c/f parts , they are susposed to be some in there

ive seen cheaper quaility c/f parts with no air bubbles

 

geeze, its like $280 to ship ... anyone know where to get this kit cheaper ? i've searched but can't find any ... anyone know the pirce on the ss kit ?

the ss doesnt really have a kit. but u can get the ss front bumper with the bottom valcne. 200 for that. side skirts at 90 a peice. and the rear valence on the ss has tabs so it wont a non ss so u would have to fabricate that or get the ss bumper w/ the slots in it or just go w/ the rk sport one which will fit the non ss cars just not the ss

Any body kit parts have to be freight shipped which is why they're so expensive. The tonneau cover for my truck was 499 with 275 shipping, had to come in on a semi to a business address.

 

I have a 2.4L SS on the way and am gonna try to get the lower valences for it. it has the ss front bumper, don't know what comes on the rear. i hope i can just install the valences and be done with it, but it may be more complicated.
