s/c gauge pod in 2.4..?

Hey guys,

So, I was wondering if the stock s/c gauge pod is plug n play to a 2.4. I'm talking 100%. No programming or anything. Just buy and swap. If so, will everything read out correctly (speedo, tach, gas, dic)? I think both redlined are 6500 if I remember right. I'd like to have the black face with red/white glow instead of the white with green. I tried searching, but it's a pain on the phone. And if it works, what kind of price are we talking for a used one?

Thanks!!

If I can get the full piece cheap enough I'll probably just do that. So no programming and everything works 100% factory?

yep i dont know if you have ever seen it but when you have the ignition off and keys out of the ignition, after a little while the gauge needles start to spike up and down. this is them recalibrating after every run cycle. it will calibrate itself

The clusters are swappable provided you stick with the same years more or less. I just swapped my 2.4 cluster for an 07 SC cluster, as the 05-06 clusters won't work right. Well, the gauges work fine, but the DIC will forever be stuck on outside temp and odometer since the steering wheel buttons don't communicate with the cluster correctly. I got mine from eBay, price wasn't too bad, you can give it a search for cobalt cluster and you'll get a bunch of results.
