To Seal or not To Seal, that is the Question

I recently recieved my halo projectors from the NGA group buy. I was wondering if I should seal them up before I install them, around the rim where the two pieces meet, with silicon. I know some members have had problems with them fogging up and what not. So should I seal them up, and if yes with what?

Go to any auto store and ask them and they'll show you exactly what you need. It's a 5 minute process plus drying time, and probably about $5 for the RTV sealant (I think it's called RTV, it's been awhile since I've used it).

Seems like a good idea; better to preempt any problems than to leave it to chance. Plus, if the solution is that cheap, you can't go wrong.
