seats???
seats???
would i have to do anything special if i bought seats from an 06 ss sc that are not heated seat and put them in my 07 ss sc with heated heats would the heat warmers still work or how is that?? any info would be awesome
My understanding is that all cobalts have the wiring for the heated seats *in the car*, but only seats that heat up are capable of heating.
In other words, a base LS could put an SS/SC's heated seats in his car, get the switch from GM and wire it to run, but you could not do the reverse unless you put the element in the seat.
Btw, why'd you swap? Recaro's? What are you doing with your stock seats?

Yes they will swap right in no problems.
However as far as the heating, Unless the seats have the warmer inside, no, U can't heat them. (as I'm sure U know)
If the seats do have the warmer, (and its an 07") then you should have the heated switch built in anyway and just need to fins a way to connect to it with the heated seats.
