so i just got my headlights in from another member on here the other day and today i was able to separate the lenses from the housings.. omg, what a flippin pita!!! i followd the how to so i knew what i was doing.. the sealant that was used by GM is seems like some kinda of freakin ingenious invention.. that **** is sooo dam hard to take off. Anyways, i finally got them apart and took off a **** load of that sealant.. i found that if you soak the sealant in goo gone, the goo gone eats away at it slowly.. which helped a lot.

i will be having my gfs brother in law paint them for me professionally, like he did with my tail lights..

they wont be done for another week or 2, seeing as how im pretty busy in school right now. I just wanted to share how hard that dam sealant was to take off.
