Shattered Side Window, need some options

So my GF's dad did some weed wacking and put a small rock through the tiny window behind my passenger door and it needs replacing. It doesn't look too hard to replace, I think. Is it cheaper to have a pro install it after dealing with my insurance/deductable/etc etc etc or to go to the stealership or junk yard and get a new window and caulk it in myself?

That window is likely expensive.

I would find out how much. Insurance is usally not bad on windows, but best to call them and find out.

yeh i would have it professionally done. especially on that lil window because it is sealed all around, like a windshield. If its not done just so it will look bad and possibly leak. I say just get one from a junkyard for cheap, and have him pay to install it. It shouldnt be too hard to remove one from a junk car, and to pay for a new one will be pricey. Install may run ya 50 bucks. Avoid insurance claims if possible!

if your 2.2l 4cylnder was sucking gas like a hummer, you have WOT problems, and every car scratches. unless you drive a james bond mobile, then your car can get hurt...my car is scratchless for the most part...

oh and by the way, go to a mazda forum and stop spreading your stupid here...

but u dont drive a cobalt (disliking them), you openly call cobalts lemons, and you ALWAYS post stupid things in new people threads...like "shoulda got a mazda" or "blah blah blah cobalt = lemon"

rule of thumb, smaller the window the more it costs to replace.

yes, i have one...

you have a 3 i touring edition? which is naturally better in twisties (upgraded touring suspension?)

compare a 2.4 ss in the twisties to your car...

or compare an LT with the regular Mazda 3..
