or compare an LT with the regular Mazda 3..
no upgraded suspension in the i touring value.
I would compare the 2.3 mz3 to the balt 2.4 in twisties.

You're comparing base modes which performance/ handling isn't the cars selling points but take a look at the MS3..

I love this quote about the MS3
"Well according to Phelan, the Mazdaspeed version misses the mark. Compared to the GTI and Civic Si, the car falls short in the handling department.

On paper the Mazda looks like it will eat the Honda and VW in a comparison test, but that is not the case. The 263 horsepower and 280 lb. ft. of torque severely undermine the steering and handling of the car. With that much power at the front wheels, the car suffers from a significant amount of torque steer. Phelan stated that it was hard to keep the car planted on the road even though it had a standard limited slip differential and stability control."

um...off of mazda's website.

the mazda 3 i touring edition: Sport tuned McPherson has springs designed at on offset angle from the shocks to reduce friction from lateral forces.
E-type multi link suspension gives precise control in the corners and isolates the springs from the shocks to reduce bumps in the road.

no upgraded suspension?
Sport tuned McPherson's??

stop lieing or get your info straight...

thanks for the info. Now that explains everything about why my mz3 handles better than my old LT.

The window is urethaned to the body and unless you have the proper tools and training to remove it I would not suggest doing it.

Mine got busted out when someone broke into my car, you have to get it done at the dealership to get it done right... and yes its more expensive, cause the small ones arent as mass produced as the larger windows...

That window would be expensive to replace, but again ebay.. you can get almost anything, so I'd say get the one that Doc posted.

And btw, enough going around gloating about a Mazda. I know Cobalts are better but come on, no Mazda is going to beat an SS...which reminds me..

The factory glass is about $365 for just the part. An aftrmarket glass is almost double of that. Unless you can find a used one, a brand new one from GM is the cheaper option. I just looked it up in my estimating software.
