to shave rear lights or not?

I picked up a ls wingless trunk today for $50 bucks(or so, paid $100 for that and armrest). Shaving the key hole, and needs to be painted anyways. But cant find that many pics of a black sc with the g5 trunk. The one I did see made the ass end look blank and plain. Opinions?

All work would be free as a friend and I will be doing it ourselves..(he does body work)

If anyone could post a few pics of a black sc with a g5 or shaved trunk I would greatly appreciate it.

I say leave the lights in, it would look strange cause the cobalt lights are so small. but I wish I could get rid of the key hole!

IMO, shaving tail lights is dumb. Why get rid of reverse lights? Seriously.

The back up lights do me no good really. Tinted lights+limo windows = cant see **** anyways. Was thinking about getting a led strip and hiding them in the ss rear grill(mesh) pieces. if i did though. Totally agree with you, no lights is dangerous in the city.
