sounds like overspray....I'd try to claybar it first, if that doesn't help, you may have to take it to a detail shop....a good one should be able to take a look at it and tell you whether it can be buffed off or not.

i have it too guys, go get a claybar, it'll come out. i think it just shows up worse on the yellow because of the contrast.

it was, it's just road grit, or whatever you call it.

it pulls impurities out of the paint. you can get it almost anywhere that sells auto detailing stuff.

a claybar won't mess up your paint. read the directions and it can only help.

i would recommend a normal claybar, liquid stuff isn't quite the same. it's not too much, can't be much more than 10-15 bucks.

wow. I JUST got off the phone with my dealership literally 1 minute ago, I pulled this up when I was on the phone but I have this problem too, it looks like garbage.

Luckily my car is going on 4 weeks old and they will probably fix it for free, hopefully.

Ill tell you guys if they give me any information on what to do if they don't fix it, which they should.

I sure hope so.

I paid $500 for a simonizing too. They better replace that also.

But if they repaint my car, do I get the same color?

Or can I pick a color?

Hello gang I too have the black dots on my bumper. you know what it is, carbon. Take a clay bar mentioned above voila, its off. Yes they are a pain in the butt, you will get them off. If its a new paint job make sure you follow procedures about washing or claying. I am pretty sure there is a grace period for washing or detailing.

Thanks,
Jas

Most dealers call it rail dust.... I had it on my Laser Blue Cobalt and they took care of it for me!

you can pick the color but will cost you more depending on the color, if you going for a lighter color that means more sanding and priming so it depends.
