Should I Get Racing Stripes?

I have a 2005 Arrival Blue Balt and was looking into getting some racing stripes. I would get a gunmetal color cause i like the way it looks on blue. can anyone photoshop my balt with some racing stripes so i can make up my mind. pics of my car are in my gallery.

I hate to jack this thread but to JohnfromVA. Unless the pics are just making your stripes look weird you might want to have a talk with whomever did them. It looks like the stripes get closer then further apart on the hood. The drivers side stripe on the hood doesn't wrap under the lip so you can see red showing. The gap on the bumper is bigger then the hood and the stripe has a gap in it down where the front lip meets the car. I hate to be so critical but I do vinyl for a living so I examine other peoples work.

those are the oversized silverado ss badges. I thought they look neat he even took the chevy bowtie off the front and put the oversized ss badge in place...I know I had a talk with the guy about the vinyl...he got more vinyl and fixed them up...those are like 4 month old pics but thanks for the info if I didnt see it

and if I could put my two cents in about the stripes....if you have the laser blue...I have seen silver stripes on the laser blue and looks hot as ****....but it is your car...just giving you options

Ok so does anyone have any good links to getting stripes made specifically for cobalts?

JohnfromVa, I might have to consider silver now, I originally wanted white...I'm going to get a headache just thinking about it.

i love the stripes on your car. what color is your balt? i think i would have the stripes go down to the front bumper and down the back.

mine is laser metallic with white stripes. they are the old chevy style so they only go to the hood and trunk but i like them like that. they also have a red pinstripe inset around the outside on the stripes which is a nice and subtle accent.

I have to agree. I have metalic pewter stripes - the metalic is almost identical to the laser blue, making it look like the car is pewter with the lazer ble tint over it. Take a look at the pics in my gallery.

Reminds me of my old car, not a cobalt but it is GM based!...was my first attempt at vinyl graphics!

Your set-up is like the older Camaro SS, since all the corners on the end of the stripes are rounded and you took it over the roof. Mine is more like the Chevelle, which had square corners on the inside corners and no stripes on the roof (plus the Chevelle hood stripes followed the contour of the hood bulge, while the Camaro stripes had parallel sides).

Interesting how well the Cobalt responds to updated traditional Chevy themes.

I like you set-up!
